Women and men need different amounts of calories. For instance, on average, women need just 1,200 – 1,300 calories daily, but men need about 1,500 – 1,600 calories. Other than gender, other things to consider in ascertaining your ideal calorie intake are height, activity level, and your body type. So it’s recommended that you visit a professional dietician if you want to start any kind of low calorie diet.

As you can see, a five calorie diet could have adverse effects. But if you’re deadset and really want to try the 500 calorie diet for losing weight fast, it is highly recommended that you visit a professional dietician for more advice regarding its effects on your health.
