The dangers associated with modern skin care are not fully recognized by those using them. Millions put chemicals on their skin that are so toxic that the disposal regulations will not allow them to be in landfills each and every day. There is no government regulation for transparency of where the ingredients come from or what they actually are. There is nothing that regulates whether or not all of the ingredients are even listed on the product labels.
That is why it is important to look for all natural, plant based, organic certified products. These are the very same organic food products that have passed local or federal regulations. That’s right, if you wouldn’t eat it, then why are you putting it directly on the biggest organ in your body? Organic skin care products have to be guaranteed to be safe even if ingested.
Know what you are applying to the skin
Right now there is a lot of talk about organic foods and clothing in the media and on people’s minds. Look anywhere and you can see companies trying to get in on the bandwagon. Grocery stores across the nation are sporting organic foods sections. Some even offer a couple of selections of organic skin care products such as bar soap and toothpaste.
Stop attempting to purchase so-called natural products from chain stores. It does not mean that they are natural even if they do have botanical essences or fruit extracts. It is like adding a carrot to a pot of toxic waste and calling it a healthy stew. You would not eat it or give it to one of your children. How about washing your laundry in it? What about much loved pets? Still millions of unaware people not only purchase but put these death dealing toxins directly onto their skin.

Other than the way a product smells or how good the package looks people pay virtually little to no attention to what goes on the skin. These noxious chemicals contribute to cancer, brain damage and other devastating health issues. Such chemicals even cause premature aging, the loss of hair, impotency and skin disorders without knowing it every day.
However, without knowing it many are putting gasoline by products, fish scales, road kill, dead animals (and their rendered parts, even blood), beetles, rust, mercury, lead aluminum, uranium, toxic metals, and left over chemicals from processing plants onto their skin. Other death dealing and cancer causing, skin drying and killing ingredients are: Alcohol, Formaldehyde, Padimate-O, Alpha Hydroxy Acid, Petrolatum, Propane, Animal Fat (Tallow), Butane, Lye, Dioxins, Fluorocarbons, Mineral Oil, Methyl, propyl, butyl, and ethyl paraben, Sodium Laureth Sulphate, and the list goes on.
The scary part is that makeup companies are allowed to put some of these ingredients in their products and they are not required to list them on the label.
Organic is the Answer
The damage can be reversed by the use of organically certified products. The skin is fed with these. The amount of toxins from the environment that is put into the body can be cut down by using organic skin care products in place of the usual skin care products. The damage from highly toxic chemicals can be undone. You won’t burn as quickly in the sun because organic skin care products are not based on gasoline. The skin can now breathe. There are fewer issues with reproductive health and fewer birth defects.
For the longest time skin was not considered an organ. That it is one of the largest organs of the body is now well known. Not only does it protect from disease but it regulates moisture and body temperature as well. Not only does it breathe but it gets rid of wastes and toxins in the body as well as taking in information and nutrients from surroundings. This covering is semi-permeable and keeps us healthy.
By using certified organic skin care products that are free of these toxins you can feed your skin, reverse cancer cell growth, reverse aging, encourage it to renew its elasticity, and most of all, allow it and your body to finally breathe without the dead weight of chemical skin care products.
