Top Anti-aging Diet Tips 7 Deadly Sins.
There are probably as many diets out there as there are people to eat them and I have put together 7 of my favorite techniques to improve your health and expand your lifespan. Some of this stuff is just common knoweldge the problem is it is such common knoweldge that no one does it. We all know we should be but none of us do.
1. Avoid eating manufactured foods:- You body was not designed to live on pastries, cookies and candies none of which offer any significant food value or benefit. Keep to natural foods which are made from whole foods (a potato not potato chips) . A grilled chicken breast and not a chicken burger. If you think how food is prepared and where it comes from before cooking it (an how it’s cooked) you won’t go far wrong
2.Eat little and often do not stuff yourself: – Your digestive system is designed to digest food slowly so the bigger your meals the longer it takes to digest it is healthy to snack with the right foods between meals. In fact five well spaced out meals a day is much healthier and will help you live longer.
3.You can’t get enough fiber and avoid refined foods:- Foods which contain fiber (back to natural again) help the bodies digestive system function at it’s peak which means it can expell harmful toxins and the like more effeciently and last longer.
4.Give me Water:- If you’ve never heard any one say this before i’d be amazed. But why is water so important? It’s simple our body is made up of water and when we eat the wrong foods or drink alcohol it becomes dehydrated this means we need more water.When we drink water our bodies systems get flushed out (or if you prefer washed) this removes harmful substances that lead to illness, cancers and many other problems. It’s recommended you drink 8-10 cups of water a day.
5.Avoid those bad fats: Some people don’t know there are different types of fat.So I came up with an almost fool proof way of checking if fat is good or bad. If a fat originally comes from animal or is manufactured it is not as good for you as fat from a plant is. This means margarines are lower in saturated fat which is better for you than butter. Dont Forget:- Any fat will make you put on weight when used to excess so when planing you diet keep fats under control.
6. Stop eating unbalanced meals: – People all to frequently eat meals that are unbalanced or follow diets which omit or reduce some of the food groups to create an unbalanced diet. An example of this which every one knows is the carb cutting diet of Dr Atkins which if adhered to for a prolonged period can be very unhealthy and leave you feeling quite ill. It very unbalanced and very unnaturally high in protein. Interesting to note is Dr Atkins died at the age of 72 allegedly 258 pounds in weight.
7.Prevent sugar highs and sugar lows:- You can harm your body with sugar high and lows. These are refered to as hypoglycemia. Many people believe this is just a problem for diabetics, but it known that these constant dramatic changes in blood sugar can lead to serious health problems including aging the body faster. This can be quite easily prevented by combining foods which are fast release with foods which take longer to breakdown by the body.
Few people actually understand how their diet and even how they eat and prepare food can shorten or indeed lengthen the time our bodies will last but by watching what we eat we can even reduce the aging process.
