The Wine into Water trick is another excellent kids magic trick. All you need is water, bleaching powder, and some red food coloring.
You will first pour water into a clear glass and mix in some red food dye. The water will now resemble wine.
Now dump that red ‘wine’ into a glass filled with a little bleaching powder. The bleach goes to work right away, turning the water clear. Now if you really are going to let a kid do this trick, don’t let them do it alone! Bleach is a dangerous chemical.
What if you can’t find a good magic kit? It’s a simple matter to perform kids magic tricks by using common household items. After all, you only need a pencil if you’re going to do the Rubber Pencil Trick.
You can make the pencil look rubbery if you hold it loosely near the tip and wobble it around. Kids love seeing these kinds of illusions.
